1 John 4:18

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

Critical thresholds can hold paralyzing fear. Every leader has to pass through them to become who God destined them to become. So do churches. Far too many times the church doesn’t go forward because leaders lack the courage to lead forward.

Often, the Body is one decision away from a breakthrough but frozen in fear at the threshold because someone is afraid of losing their job, offending the power structure, or dealing with conflict. God help us. When the church is paralyzed, people are lost forever. Read more here.
