To be single-hearted restores the unity of our persons, replacing the divided self with the wholeness of persons once created by God and now reborn in His likeness.

In such an experience of holiness (wholeness), the intellect, emotions, and will, unite to guide our body, spirit, and soul into the obedience of faith, rooted in God’s gracious gift of Jesus. [BN,9-10]
