On that day which celebrated the
abundant heart of God, Yahweh saved Abraham.
That He wanted to save Him is
unmistakable proof that His heart desired to do so! Because there was room in
the heart of God for Abraham, there was now room in the heart of Abraham for
God. Is not this a wonderful picture of salvation by faith through grace? When
we witness in Scripture the desire of God to make His creatures right
with Himself, we see what God’s heart look likes! [BN,6]
