1 Cor 15:3-8

For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas (Peter), and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep.  Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.

Have you been intellectually honest in your investigation of the faith?

Or, have you allowed the enemy to create doubt?  If you desire to know the “reason for the season” we encourage you to join us at the Naz and engage in a study of Holy Scripture.  Examples of truths learned relate to these aforementioned verses.  For instance, are you aware that most scholars date this creed, found within Paul’s letter to the church in Corinth, to AD 32 – 38?  In other words, within 2 – 8 years of Jesus’ resurrection.

Bottom line – if the spirit of the world is getting in the way of your accepting the Good News, we encourage you to come and learn how this Holy Season points to something far more important than tradition.  We encourage you to worship Him among fellow believers who desire to reflect His love onto you and your family.
