Salvation-history took a new turn when “Christ died for the ungodly.” We often refer to the death and resurrection of Jesus as the Christ event because of its epoch-making significance.

This season (kairos) was no ordinary season, but a decisive turn in the road when God stepped in to effect a dramatic turnabout. Jesus altered the flow of time by his coming, such that we can speak about history “before Christ” (B.C.) and history “in the year of our Lord” (A.D.)..[BN,6]
