Recently, I had a conversation with a good friend who was facing a tough health decision. He said to me, “Bob, I’m in a very strange place these days.” On other occasions, people tell us they are “in a very different place” than when we last met. Faced with the chaos of the world around us, it’s not uncommon to hear people ask, “So, where are you these days?” [BN, 1]
