Ephesians 4:24

And to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

From Background Notes [BN] for Aug 2nd & 3rd written by Pastor Bob Brown:

Jesus critiqued the "righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees" (see Matthew 5:20), and offered a fresh interpretation of the Torah, as found in the Sermon on the Mount, where he called for a "hungering after righteousness" (Matthew 5:6).

Torah as law and regulation led to all sorts of distortions of justice, subject to the manipulation of courts, rabbis and priests. In its place, Christ offered Torah as embodied in his own person, its true fulfillment and the fulfillment "of all righteousness.” Paul called Christ the "goal of Torah" (Romans 10:4). When we "put on the new nature,” we put on Christ the righteous one, along with a love for true righteousness and the consistent practice of a just life. [BN, 7]
