2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
From Background Notes [BN] for Sept 19th & 20th written by Pastor Bob Brown:

The world had a beginning and it moves toward an end that is neither terminal nor hopeless, but climatic and fulfilling.

We often hear the term “eschatological” applied to the flow of history in light of God’s bright future. From the Greek eschaton, meaning “end,” the word identifies the purposeful arrival and continuing viability of all that God does for the world. Like a powerful magnet, the future draws creation into ever-increasing oneness with the Creator through a series of defining events that include His choice of Israel and the earthly ministry of Jesus His Son. To think eschatologically means to see the work of God in the world with meaning and purpose. Each of His great acts in history gains importance from their contribution to how things will at last turn out. He is, after all, the Alpha and the Omega.  [BN,2]
