Colossians 1:21-22

Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation

From Background Notes [BN] for Nov 15th & 16th written by Pastor Bob Brown:

The truth found in Jesus the Messiah includes everyone without artificial distinctions that alienate, classify, marginalize, or segregate.

When a church forms in a city, barriers between persons fall away by the reconciling love of God. Local Christian communities are a sign to the world that the ground is level at the foot of the cross. Questions of privilege and divisions by race or class have no place in the world-wide family of God, and when the church exhibits harmony between persons, it sends a message of reconciliation to the world. Membership in the Christ community, among his followers, excludes no one in its offer of salvation. [BN,11]
