What Faith Promise means to the church is a heart-felt appeal to God’s people, based on biblical principles, for a unified approach to giving. As a complement to the tithe, Faith Promise offerings gather up the overflow of blessed lives, and direct new resources into carefully managed missionary work.

Even the local church as a whole “tithes the tithe” in its continuing commitment to the kingdom of God around the world. For individuals this means a thoughtful weighing of God’s blessings in their lives and then making a covenant — a promise — to allow the harvest to bear fruit for needs outside the community.
