Christ was formed in Mary, but Christ
also is formed in us.
The call of the Gospel invites persons
of good will to join the journey of Zechariah and Elizabeth, Mary and Joseph,
and the little community which surrounded them in the days before Jesus was
born. Together they believed the ancient promises and allowed the waiting to
form the Messiah in their hearts. In this season, may whatever pains accompany
our lives remind us how much God desires to be present in us so that He might
be present through us. [BN,12]
