Acts 5:14

Nevertheless, more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number.

From Background Notes [BN] for March 8th & 9th written by Pastor Bob Brown:

Nothing authenticates our witness more than living out, with integrity, supportive community life. The Gospel in action strengthens our witness. In this case, Luke draws a tight connection between the belief that Jesus rose from the dead and the existence of a caring Christian fellowship.

After all, if Jesus rose from the dead, then this world has undergone a radical transformation. Through the risen Jesus, God has declared His firm commitment to this world in all of its need and future possibilities. The same God who raises the dead also offers new life to the dying social order, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, helping the poor, healing the sick, caring for the widow and the orphan. [BN,10]
