Using the material from John’s Gospel as the basis, we summarize Jesus’ central understanding of his relationship to God as Father. Jesus comes into the world as a human so that the he might reveal the true nature of God as the Everlasting Father.

As a major feature of the Advent message, the coming of Jesus scintillates with the glory — with the light — of God’s unique connection to His human creation. Jesus brings significant insights of God’s character, lifting our understanding of God the Father from hiddenness into revelation. Want to know what God the Father is like?
