Isaiah 9:6

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

So, isn’t saying that Jesus is the Everlasting Father “confound the persons” because it confuses Father with Son?

Had we put that question to early Christians they probably would have look at us perplexed. To them, a more important truth took center stage: Jesus is the revealer of God the Father. All that God is becomes visible in the human Jesus, as ambitious as that statement sounds.  [BN,2]
