The setting of the story is the Temple, a place to which the apostles directed their efforts until they were eventually denied access.

Since the Holy Spirit had come to dwell in the temple of their bodies, would it not stand to reason that their presence in the Temple implied that God Himself was present through them? This is how God would once more live among His people: by living in His people. [BN,4]
